The firm, established in 1895, was active at Argent Works, Birmingham and became a Ltd in 1899. They were present at the British Industries Fair during the years 1929 to 1947 using the Manco Plate trade name. They ceased production after this period. The item is a silver plated oval casserole dish stand fitted with four reasonably large bun feet, a rolled rim and base as well as handles on the longitudinal ends. The item is decorated by means of a pierced metal Gothic patterning.

The stand is impressed underneath a handle Manco Regd Electro Plate.

The item has mild patina requiring polishing, aside from which the item is in good condition with no other damages noted.
