Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been posted/shipped.
We endeavour to pack our items with the utmost of care to ensure there are no breakages or damages, however cannot guarantee a no breakage or no damage delivery.
Affordable Preloved Goodies takes no responsibility for potential delays in postage/shipping due to potential Covid 19 closures or restrictions or due to strikes that are outside of our control.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Postnet and Pep Paxi Parcels will only be posted on Fridays, unless you are notified differently via email.
Should you wish to arrange for your own courier to collect your order, you are welcome to do so within 72 hours of purchase.
Note that there is a weight restriction on all shipping options. Should your order be more than the restricted weight, shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly. It is an industry standard that courier consignments are charged at the greater of either the actual weight or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying length, breadth (width) and height (in centimetres) and dividing this by the applicable volumetric conversion factor which is 5000.

Local pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 50 Rhos Street, Boston, Bellville, 7530. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our local pickup hours are 10:00 am to 18:00 pm on week days only. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
We allow 10 business days for pick up, failing which we will cancel the order and relist the items for sale. We will send 2 to 3 reminder notifications for pick up from date of original order.
International Shipping
At this stage we unfortunately do not offer international shipping, however should you wish to arrange your own shipping, your are most welcome to do so.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at affordableprelovedgoodies@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at affordableprelovedgoodies@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
