Arnold E. Williams & Sons began manufacturing in Birmingham in the early 1900’s and registered the Falstaff trade name in 1949. Their last entry was 1975.
This item is a vintage pierced metal silver plated display dish manufactured by Arnold E. Williams & Sons under the Falstaff trade name during the 1950-1960’s. The dish is fitted with a c-scroll swing handle and has four ball feet. The sides of the items are decorated in a pierced metal pattern while the rim has repousse craft patterning.
Stamped underneath the rim Falstaff EPNS England.
Besides requiring a good polish and feint surface scratches due to use, the dish is in very good condition.
