The item is a vintage silver plated presentation basket fitted with a swing handle and decorated with a repousse motif along the rim and pierced sunrise patterning along the verge.
Impressed underneath the rim beside the handle EPNS.
It seems the item had 4 feet on which it stood however the feet are no longer present. The basket has a few surface scratches as well as some patina spots. It also requires a very good polish. Aside from all of this it is still in very good usable condition.
