Noritake designed and released a number of patterns between 1908 and the 1940’s, which were all titled “Mystery”, with each pattern simply granted a number beside the title. These are 6 identical antique fine porcelain dessert bowls decorated in the “Mystery #21” pattern, which was discontinued in 1921 and produced from 1908.The pattern displays blush pink and orange roses in bloom with pink rose buds, gentle green leaves and deep purple florals against a creamy yellow band highlighted with gold trim.
Stamped underneath “Noritake, Made in Japan” together with the Noritake blue Komaru mark used between 1908 and 1920.
Besides some light fading on the gold trim, all 6 bowls are in very good condition with no cracks, chips or visible damages.
