Faiart is located in Batalha, Portugal and manufactures fine porcelain, terra cotta and earthenware. The company is today one of the largest producers having purchased the Verbano factory in 1995 (a firm begun in northern Italy in 1953).
This item is a vintage porcelain lidded bowl/jar. The lid is lift on/off. The item is decorated by hand in pink rose buds around a larger rose in bloom all nestled among green leaves.
Stamped underneath Faiarts.
The bowl/jar has some small areas of age related crazing, but aside from this is in very good condition..
