Manufactured during the mid-century under the Emess trade name, the item is a silver plated tray designed with a graduated serpentine style rim and decorated across the well in etched baroque patterning with the centre portion personalised – ICL (formerly Israel Chemicals Ltd. with headquarters in Tel Aviv).
The tray is stamped underneath Emess Silverware.
Mild plate loss has occurred on the tray and it has feint surface scratches due to use, aside from which it is in very good usable condition..
