This plate is a highly collectible piece of 1950s/1960s Mid-Century Modern German glassware, specifically produced by the company Heye as part of their Filigran Glass line.

Heye (also commonly referred to or listed as Haya or Heye Filigran). These pieces were manufactured in West Germany during the mid-20th century post-war era.  The collection is renowned for its signature "Filigran" technique, which translates to a delicate, ultra-fine white enamel pattern resembling hand-etched filigree lace or frosted sketching. While different shapes in this collection feature varied botanical motifs (such as grasses, lilies, or wildflowers), they almost universally share the exact radiating fan geometric border and a very thin, polished gold gilt rim.

This specific Heye Filigran Glass plate is a square, clear glass plate featuring an elegant, mid-century modern style frosted design. The platter is square with gently rounded corners and slightly upturned edges. The centre features a white, frosted/etched floral motif showcasing long, thin-petaled flowers, curved stems, and delicate textured fronds.  A continuous, geometric frosted border runs along the entire perimeter, featuring a series of fine, fan-like radiating lines.  The outermost rim is finished with a thin, delicate gold geometric trim.

The plate is in pristine condition with no damages noted.
