Very heavy and solidly crafted this item is a decorative vintage studio art pottery vase (in the shape of a pitcher) designed with a prominent c-scroll style handle fashioned into a coil at the point of attachment. The vase is crafted from a light red clay and glazed with the use of juniper tinged sporadically with olive green glazing. Portions of the glazing have been hand decorated in darker green (almost black) touch patterning.
The item is a suitable standalone decorative piece, which can also be used as a vase for flowers.
The item is not marked or stamped.
Aside from feint age related crazing, the item is very solid and in excellent vintage condition
