Manufactured during the 1950’s in Japan’s Kutani region, these two items are individually hand painted as very fine porcelain items manufactured by Hayasi always are. The tea cup and tea plate are both decorated in Hayasi’s rose pattern officially numbered pattern 5788, along with platinum trim on the rims and the tea cup handle. The pattern depicts a solitary pink rose in bloom in the centre of two pink rose buds and grey with soft blue leaves.

Besides slight fading of the platinum trim on both items, they are in very good condition with no visible damages.
