A rare antique silver plated sugar sifter spoon manufactured during the late 1800’s to early 1900’s with a Moline handle design.
The Moline handle design was created by Rogers, Rogers & Bro during 1847 and also utilised by Rogers, Smith & Co. in 1893. The pattern was repeated with subtle variations but later discontinued to be re-created later, but only in stainless flatware versions.
This antique sugar sifter spoon is silver plated.
The item is stamped EPNS.
Plate loss has occurred due to age, but the spoon is in good condition and beautiful.
