The back stamp on this item indicates a manufacturing date by W.H. Grindley & Co., Tunstall, during the 1950’s. The item is a smaller sized oval porcelain serving platter decorated with silver trim along a scalloped rim and prominent green linear deco patterning with black. The rim also has embossed scroll motifs used directly beneath the rim itself. The pattern is considered deco and is titled The Bolton pattern.
The serving platter is stamped underneath Cream Petal Grindley England.
The platter has some minor fading of the silver and green trim, aside from which the platter is in very good vintage condition.
