A rare pattern designed and introduced by Royal Grafton Bone China during the early 1950’s in both pink (RGR130) and green versions (RGR160). This pattern is officially RGR160 based on the mild green background.

The tea trio, consisting of a tea plate, saucer and tea cup, is decorated in studio craft white floral and emerald green patterns on a soft green background. The tea cup is designed in the Malvern shape with a gold trim pedestal, handle and rim.

The Grafton Works was built in 1900 in Longton by A.B. Jones, a pottery decorator and seller. In 1966 the business was bought by Crown House Glass Ltd. but continued to trade under the name A.B. Jones. In 1971 the business was sold to a New Zealand based company and renamed Crown Lynn Ceramics Ltd.

All three items are stamped underneath Royal Grafton Bone China Made in England.

The tea cup has a repaired (painted) chip on the rim above the handle (please see pictures), aside from this all three items are in very good condition and with minimal gold loss.
