Thomas Poole began manufacturing at the Cobden Works in Longton, Staffordshire in 1880 and was known as Thomas Poole & Gladstone China Ltd., later changing its name to Royal Stafford.

This item is an antique Royal Stafford China tea trio (pattern 3502) and consists of the tea cup, matching saucer and tea plate. Pattern 3502 is considered one of the Imari style patterns of the period. The pattern displays a rust red peony design along with cobalt blue accents and a pastel green all depicted along a gold highlighted scroll garland.

Each item is stamped underneath Royal Stafford Chine, England.

Slight fading is occurring on the gold trim of the rims, aside from this the item is in very good condition.
