This is the mid-century "Zorba" coffee and tea service produced by England's famous Beswick Pottery. Designed by Graham Tongue in 1968, the collection was manufactured into the early 1970s and showcases a distinct space-age retro aesthetic.

This variation is finished in a glossy "Mission Brown" or "Autumn Bronze" glaze. It features a multi-toned look, with a darker satin-matte brown on the upper bodies and handles, contrasting against a lighter, warm brown base.

Influenced by traditional Greek design motifs, the embossed border consists of repeating geometric shapes of nested circles and triangles wrapped around the bottom of each piece.

The matching ceramic lids are decorated with a concentric, relief-moulded spiral pattern.

This specific arrangement includes:

·         1 Large Coffee Pot (Pattern #2211): Standing nearly 9 inches tall with a bold, elongated cylindrical shape.

·         1 Smaller Hot Water / Tea Pot (Pattern #2229): Sharing the exact structural silhouette but scaled down.

·         1 Open Sugar Bowl: Wrapped fully in the textured geometric band.

·         5 Footed Coffee Cups & 6 Matching Saucers: Showcasing flared rims and small, rounded handles ideal for espresso or espresso-based coffee.

The set is in excellent vintage condition with no damages noted.
