In 1933 Albert Ter Steege travelled far and wide with his horse and carriage. As a street vendor, he sold his household products to people in and around the town of Enter.
Ter Steege B.V., a Dutch-founded business that operates internationally, is a supplier of a wide assortment of pots, lifestyles articles and souvenirs produced under its own management.
The item is a gorgeous little duo consisting of the cup and saucer, both embossed with mesh and scroll patterning, flowers on the saucer and a Dutch country scene with horse and owner on the cup and both items beautifully rounded of with platinum trim.
The cup and saucer is marked underneath: Handdecorated, Royal Schwabap, 1984 Ter Steege BV, Holland.
The cup as well as the saucer is in excellent vintage condition.
