The item is a beautiful solid and heavy silver plated lidded butter dish manufactured under the Seranco trade name. The rim of this butter dish is lavishly embellished with grape and grape leaf design. The lid is semi-domed and has an elegantly simple bun lid finial. The liner of the butter dish is made of clear glass and a stunning starburst pattern on the bottom.
