The company was founded in 1973 by Avroy and Beryl Shlain, developing and marketing a small range of high quality skincare and fragrance products. More than 30 years later Avroy Shlain is one of South Africa’s leading direct selling cosmetic and fragrance companies. This beautiful bowl is from cut glass with the large sunburst pattern underneath and a silver plated solid lid, embossed across the entirety of its surface at the top with a floral and leaf baroque patterning and a blank centre etched – Avroy Shlain.
Besides the etching on the lid, the bowl is not marked or stamped.
The item is in excellent condition with no visible damages.
