The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, previously known as the Star China Company, and more recently part of the Royal Doulton group.

The item is a tea plate decorated in soft pastel pink, orange and blue Poppy-like flowers and bright green leaves on a soft pastel green background, and rounded off with gold trim.

The item is stamped underneath Paragon with double weapon by appointment HM The Queen & HM Queen Mary Fine Bone China England Regd with illegible number.

The tea plate has a hairline and can therefore be used as a planter base, for a craft project or display, but not as part of a set.
