Arabia is a Finnish ceramics company, founded in 1873 by Rörstrand, and currently owned by Fiskars. Arabia has specialized in kitchenware and tableware. The original Arabia porcelain factory was located in Toukola (Helsinki). It later housed the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
Manufactured by Arabia, Finland, the item is a clear glass bottle coaster, designed with a flared portion from the base to the extended rim. The clear glass coasters by Arabia are rare in that generally those available are textured glass.
The item is labelled on the rim Arabia Wartsilla Finland, which was used between 1971 and 1975.
The coaster is in perfect vintage condition.
