Victorian elegance encapsulated in the form and design, with a gracefully scalloped rim, tilt scroll handle and three attached paw feet, this lovely item is a vintage silver plated creamer which has been hard soldered, generally a term used to describe a thin line of hard solder (roughly 2/3 silver) used to join hollowware parts on high quality silver plate.
The item is stamped underneath with a generic EPNS mark in gothic (generally used by a variety of Sheffield manufacturers during the first half of the 1900’s) followed by Warranted Guaranteed Hard Soldered.
Besides requiring a polish, the creamer is in very good condition.
