Silvawyte is the trade name first used in Sheffield manufactured nickel silver cutlery, but which has since been adopted for use by a variety of different cutlers in the production of nickel silver.
This item is a complete set of six identical nickel silver cake / pastry forks all manufactured in the Old English Dovetail handle design. The set comes in a black streaked pattern on a sky blue background presentation case with blue textile inner lining and black velvet / felt rests. The case is hinged and has a silver metal frontal clip.
Each fork is handle-stamped Made in England Silvawyte Nickel Silver.
Besides requiring a good polish, all six forks are in very good condition.
