Manufactured by JAJ (James A. Jobling) during the 1960’s and into the first year of the 1970’s, this item is a vintage Pyrex clear glass casserole dish with handles designed on the longitudinal ends. The dish unfortunately does not come with a lid. JAJ began manufacturing in 1885 and acquired the patent rights to produce Pyrex in 1921. JAJ produced Pyrex wares from 1921 until 1971. In 1973 Corning took control of the company.
The dish is marked underneath JAJ, Made in England.
Although well-used with age related surface scratches the dish is in very good condition with no other visible damages and as mentioned comes without a lid.
