The item is an antique soup or vegetable tureen glazed in standard white and manufactured from porcelain. The tureen comes with its original domed lid. The tureen is fitted with a pair of upswept handles and the lid is fitted with a finial scroll handle.
Due to the uneven glaze and tiny manufacturer’s flaws all over the tureen, which adds to the beautiful character of this item it is assumed that the tureen is antique as there is also no existing manufacturers mark on the item.
As mentioned the tureen is not marked or stamped.
