The item is an antique (late 1800’s) silver plated candle wick snuffer scissors with feet beneath the handles to rest on a cupboard or the table and for easy pick-up.
The snuffer is not marked or stamped.
Due to its age, this item has much wear and shows signs of surface rust. The pin also requires a bolt to hold the two sides together. This item could be polished and used for decorative purposes.
