This item is an antique silver plated tray butter pat dish, consisting of a tray and frosted glass liner. The tray is decorated in a reticulated pierced metal design on both of the longitudinal ends, while a repousse craft beaded motif decorates the rim. The glass liner is frosted and has a starburst cut pattern underneath.
This item was manufactured in Sheffield.
Stamped underneath with a hallmark style gothic EPNS, used in Sheffield.
Besides requiring a good polish, the tray as well as the glass liner is in very good condition.
