Based entirely on the mild age related wear on the three paw feet underneath the bowl as well as on the pair of embossed scroll handles, this silver plated serving or display bowl was manufactured under the “Plate Emess” trade name during the early part of the 1900’s. The bowl is silver plate on brass and has also been manufactured with a sturdy rolled rim.
The bowl is stamped underneath Plate Emess SP on B.
Although requiring a good polish, considering the age, the bowl is in very good used condition.
