This item is an assembled vintage set of 18 A1 quality silver plated cutlery items manufactured in Sheffield and 6 faux bone handle knives, although similar in look, assembled from different cutlers.
Each of the silver plated cutlery items are handle-stamped with a generic mark utilized by many of the Sheffield cutlery firms until the 1960’s after which many of these smaller firms had been purchased by the larger cutlery producers, or closed down entirely.
The set consists of 6 silver plated soup spoons, 6 dinner spoons, 6 dinner forks, all with a beaded handle design and 6 faux bone handle knives from different cutlers.
The 18 silver plated items are handle-stamped EPNS A1 Sheffield England. The knives have different stamps.
This lot has seen some use and the silver plated items may require some polishing and slight plate loss has occurred in places, but the set will compliment any vintage table setting and is still very much usable for everyday use.
