The "flirtation" pattern was designed and released by Royal Doulton in 1977 and eventually discontinued in 1990. This item however was manufactured in 1976-1977. The pattern is an appealing depiction of blush pink and soft blue flowers with white and yellow daisies portrayed on a pristine white background. Gold trim highlights the item by decorating the rim and this attractive item is designed in the Albion shape, an invitingly beautiful pattern which does seem to have a keen skill of “flirtation” with the visual sense.
