Manufactured by Carlton Ware, England, under the Australian design, the Foxglove pattern was released in both light green, dark green and yellow versions.
This attractive collectable vintage porcelain bowl is the embossed foxglove bloom on light green version and depicts brightly coloured deep purple foxglove flowers on leaf base.
The item is stamped underneath Carlton Ware Made in England Trade Mark Registered Australian Design Registration Applied For. The bowl is also impressed with a number.
The bowl has a repaired and painted chip on the rim (please see pictures). It also has some age related crazing.
