This exquisite pattern by Royal Albert is registered on the Royal Albert Patterns Website as both the Devon as well as the Lovain pattern, although in both cases the pattern is no. 3961. This beautiful pattern was first designed and released by Royal Albert Crown China in 1917 until 1925 under the title – Lovain – and again in 1927 until 1935 as the – Devon – pattern. This particular porcelain saucer was manufactured between 1927 and 1935.
This lovely pattern depicts black panels with golden yellow and rust red floral motifs in gold highlighted cartouche shapes as well as rust red swag also depicting matching flowers. Green is used within the black panels and also highlighted in gold.
There are two of these saucers in stock, however just one of the two is stamped underneath Royal Albert Crown China England.
Slight fading is occurring on the gold trim of the rims, aside from this the item is in very good condition.
