An assembled dinner set for two people consisting of the following: 2 dinner plates, 2 salad plates, 2 round bread plates, 2 squared side plates, 2 soup bowls, 2 dessert bowls. The items are from W.H. Grindley & Co., Tunstall’s Deco Ware Creampetal range in the Bolton pattern.
The backstamp on the items indicate a manufacture date between 1936 and 1954. The items are decorated with silver trim along scalloped rim and prominent green linear deco patterning with black. The rims also have embossed scroll motifs used directly beneath the rim itself. The pattern is considered deco and is titled Bolton.
All the items are stamped Creampetal Grindley England..
Although areas of trimming and colour have faded and although the items are well used, they are still in good condition and will compliment any vintage table setting.
