The fact that the items are not marked or stamped could indicate a Japanese origin not meant for the export market of the time, although their appearance and style would rather strongly suggest a continental European origin. The set consists of a rectangular fine porcelain sandwich\/snacks tray with embossed handles and black trim along with 6 identical matching square shaped plates.
