The subtle grey hue sometimes found in the glass is characteristic of that period's manufacturing processes.\u003cspan style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: 36.0pt;\"\u003eEach cup features a bowl shape, a short pedestal foot, and an applied handle. The sides of the cups appear to have delicate, engraved, or etched patterns, often a popular fern motif common during the Victorian era.
